About
👋🏻 Hello, there. I'm Chad Moore.
I've spent 25 years at the intersection of creative craft, human behavior, and organizational change. Game studios. Behavior change consultancies. Insurance giants. An online school I co-founded from scratch.
The through-line has always been the same: I help creative people and organizations do their most meaningful work — especially when the path forward isn't clear.
Here's what that looks like in practice.
I spent about 20 years in video game development, shipping titles at Sony, Turbine Games, and Warner Bros before shifting toward experience design, behavior change, and organizational transformation. Most recently I was an Agile Methodology Lead at Liberty Mutual, an internal consultant, facilitator, and coach helping people and organizations navigate complexity, experiment, and grow.
Along the way I co-founded Rigging Dojo — an online school that has run for over a decade, where I built curriculum, mentored hundreds of creative professionals, and created a Leadership for Creative People coaching program.
I've spent 10 years as a performing improviser. Literally on stage, unscripted, learning to sense and respond, make my partners look good, and find what emerges when you stop trying to control everything. I bring that into every space I facilitate.
I think visually. I'm typically first to the whiteboard — sketchnoting, graphic recording, and using visual thinking to help teams see what they're actually dealing with. Turning complex, tangled conversations into something people can work with.
I'm currently studying complexity science and strategic foresight, because I believe the organizations that will thrive are the ones that learn to move with uncertainty rather than fight it. Playing with Complexity is where all of this comes together.
My work is rooted in three values:
Presence — Being fully awake to this moment, marveling at life's fleeting beauty and complexity.
Creation — Making things and experiences with intention, not consuming or managing on autopilot.
Enabling — Helping others discover and express their creativity, growth, and authentic potential.
I'm based in coastal New England, available in person from NYC to Portland Maine, and remotely anywhere.
If any of this resonates — I'd love to talk. Send me an email or grab some time.
